I was deploying ESXi 6 on a new server, booting off USB thumb-drive where I put the ESXi installer. (Installer creatred with Rufus), I got the following error just a few seconds into the install

Fatal error: 33 (Inconsistent data)
- A quick look at the console screen showed that ESXi had attempted to boot and failed with Fatal error: 33 (Inconsistent data) when validating the file s.v00 I've had various boot media fail before, especially when using cheap USB sticks, but until now I hadn't run into a file corruption issue.
- Download VMware vSphere. Run fewer servers and reduce capital and operating costs using VMware vSphere to build a cloud computing infrastructure.
Turned out to be a bad USB drive.
Bad (usually cheap generic drives) work well for storing files, but in my experience, lack the ability to be used as install media or 'Live CD's'. I am not sure what makes one drive work over the other, but assume it has to do with the controller interface on those drives.

* Try to reinstall or upgrade ESXi from multiple versions and media 5.0.0 or 5.5.0 or 6.0.0 but the installer cannot detect the old ESXi files and just new installation tition the disk again . Axis and allies iron blitz mac.
* is this a boot bank problem ? and how can i fix it ?
